Many reasons, they just can`t quite understand the concept of faith for one, another reason is that the word of God has not found a home in their hearts yet,or else they have turned their backs on the truth to compromise with the world, again it can be the run of the mill rebelliousness that each generation throws up.

What is faith?

If it is as the apostle Paul said at 1 Timothy 1:4 - "or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God's work—which is by faith," then I don't see why people would have any reason to speak against it unless they think they can foretell the future and can see their political influence on family members being rendered ineffective by means of those who treat people as people, rather than as expedient contacts.

If faith is that thing that drives you on in your personal path, then I think you're talking about an addiction and, with the classical conditioning component of addiction, the various parties need some way to agree on how physical situations will be set up so that addictions to work, for example, can be accommodated for. This is the basis of Islam - regulating the "allowable" reasons by which people can explain the differences in their behaviour within different scenarios. It's sort of like apostate Christianity, except with Mohammed as prophet instead of a Christian leader.

You should believe in "SOMETHING", to believe that this whole wonderful planet, and the amazing way our bodies work has just "happened" is pure ignorance, it also falls under the title of "BODY PIERCING", it's meant more to "SHOCK" you than anything, so when a 20 year old Tell's you that they are an "Atheist", act "SHOCKED", otherwise they run home crying to mommy and daddy, and the "Therapy" session's have to start ALL OVER (AGAIN), so it's very important for an adult to act "SHOCKED" when told by an adolescent that they are an "ATHEIST", just act like you actually "CARE", they'll leave in a minute or two, then everyone can go back to "LAUGHING" !

Ever hear the saying "money talks, wealth whispers" ?

People with true faith keep their "comments" to themselves instead of inciting war, genocide, murder and suicide - like organized religions does.

It's actually quite simple.

Keep the faith! Peace !

Even atheists are believers -- they believe in atheism. And they like to spread their faith just like the Christians do. It's only fair.
