1. no clue
2. Rocky and Adrienne
Stand in a circle. Blindfold one kid and put him or her in the middle of the circle. Pick another kid to be the second player, not wearing a blindfold. Using only the words "Rocky!" and "Adrienne!", player one has to find and tag player two just by following the voice. The other players keep the two within the circle. Since I seriously doubt the kids would have a clue where the name "Rocky and Adrienne" came from, you can try "Ken and Barbie" or even something like "Bert and Ernie"
3. Knock, knock!
Who's there?
Impatient cow!
Impati--
MOO!
(timing on this joke is everything... it's funny when it's done right)
4. Father Abraham, if you don't mind religious songs. It's high-energy, does right and left arms, right and left legs, touch your nose, cover your ears, etc. This is a particularly good "end of song time" song, since it ends with "Right arm, left arm, right foot, left foot, touch your nose, turn around, sit DOWN!" and they land on their bottoms.

1. I don't know about "in", but my children love LEGO's. DUPLO blocks also work for younger children. Check packaging for ages. Also, my daughter likes generic wooden building blocks - various shapes and sizes and colors.
2. Hide and seek, depending on age. Easter egg hunt (or any similar objects that have colors that will clash with the outside). Tag is great for kids of reasonably similar ages and abilities. Scavenger hunts (who can find a red rock?) . Simon Says
3. See http://www.ahajokes.com/kids_jokes.html or http://www.lotsofjokes.com/kids.htm
4. Itsy-bitsy spider.
