Soft Yellows are said to create a warmth and welcoming environment. What ever you do do not go for creams and whites because they do not stimulate interest and creativity. If its a calm room go for soft blues. But I fully suggest yellow, our science lab uses it with blue cabinates and it looks great! Besides, yellows a happy colour! ;)

A color that is nice to look at - for younger kids, a bright, fun color that isn't too distracting, for older kids, I'd say a beachy color, pale yellows, lavenders, light blues, that kind of thing !

I think like a nice cream is good.
Not exacly white, but it's kind of like a light yellow white. err

i was a t.a. (teacher assistant) for 2nd graders and red and yellow seem to go well together red is a warm color and yellow as well. u may also try red and blue or purple which is relaxing

a pale blue color.. it's supposed to be calming... ever notince how in the hospital rooms... he walls are always a pale blue or green??? well thats why. :)

light beige. it's warm and inviting, and neutral colours make people feel less hungry...so they won't get as antsy around lunchtime!
