I m using windows vista. I cant seem to play any of my movies in windows media player. Why? Can some1 help me?

If you get an error that shows that you are missing a DVD decoder then you don't have DVD decoding software installed...this has to be installed in addition to Windows Vista

There should be a link on the error message that will explain that.

There may be a couple of other reasons for example the wrong region code set on the DVD ROM but I think the 1st is more likely.

What is stopping you? Error message? Blank screen? Nothing?
