I thought i had heard of some sort of software,AND OR,media player out there that will play DVDs on a regular CDrom burner. What i mean by that is, "DVD movies" mostly. Not so much like, home movies,a picture dvd,or software/programs on a dvd, or a data dvd... etc...Dont get me wrong, all that would be cool too.I've heard more frequently that software actually does exist for all that stuff.Maybe, maybe not.

So anyways,if there is such a software, freeware, shareware,or otherwise,or whatever...hehe,does anyone have some names/titles,maybe some descriptions,or what sites i can get them from.(preferably free downloads)If not, maybe the title and store or site you found it at.$$$<---that too. Or favorites, recommendations or best/most popular downloads for it, etc...I would also greatly appreciate trusted downloads if possible, virus free.(thats a given eh?)Hope i didnt waste my time if it doesnt exist. What about DAEMON?Anyone know anything about that?Is that what im looking for?

I thought it would be easier to ask about it here rather than google it,i can be more specific, talk to real people.I sometimes run across software on the net thats misleading and makes it look like it does that stuff but it doesnt.Oh yeah, before i forget....If someone has written such a program, can i get one that burns DVDs as well?Come on,there must be software out there for this. They say....if you can dream it,then eventually the software can be written for it,no matter what, long as its not too far fetched.Seems physically possible to me.Maybe im trippin though..hehe

While a CD and DVD are the same physical size, the content density is completely different, and requires completely different reading techniques to extract the data. Thus, it is simply PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for a CD-ROM to read a DVD.

You probably mistook a combo drive, which is a DVD reader and CD burner in a single unit.

Daemon Tools is a "virtual drive" tool that lets you mount a disk image as if it's a real disk. You still have to create or obtain the disk image file from somewhere. And you can't create a DVD image since you can't read one.

From own experience? You betcha! in the process the Obama marketing campaign the state of Indiana grew to become right into a sprint and flow section. McCain had a number of of help there, and the Nader voters risked sinking Obama by potential of vote casting to the left of him. although- whilst Palin jumped on board with McCain maximum of Nader voters feared their votes might seal the deal for McCain and get her in the white domicile- they chosen to vote Obama as a substitute of Nader. Time after time on the floor and on the telephone we've been advised that Palin grew to become into the rationalization they have been vote casting for Obama. She made it too risky to waste their vote on theory. So yay Palin, shop on doing what you do. i desire to verify her out on the marketing campaign path in 2012.
