Well you have 3 options...Seeing as she doesnt care for fishing or she would be with you

1 Have sex all night the night before you go so she will be so satisfied she wont care that you go. Or be too tired to care

2 If you have money give it to her and tell her to go to the mall

3 Explain your love for fishing , if she doesnt understand that yall will never make it as a couple anyhow ..Dump her find one that shares your intrests and go fishing and be a happy man .

Oh yeah be sure to buy her this Brad Paisely CD if you choose # 3

I'm Gonna Miss Her

Well I love her
But I love to fish
I spend all day out on this lake
And hell is all I catch
Today she met me at the door
Said I would have to choose
If I hit that fishin' hole today
She'd be packin' all her things
And she'd be gone by noon

Well I'm gonna miss her
When I get home
But right now I'm on this lakeshore
And I'm sittin' in the sun
I'm sure it'll hit me
When I walk through that door tonight
That I'm gonna miss her
Oh, lookie there, I've got a bite

Now there's a chance that if I hurry
I could beg her to stay
But that water's right
And the weather's perfect
No tellin' what I might catch today

Well I'm gonna miss her
When I get home
But right now I'm on this lakeshore
And I'm sittin' in the sun
I'm sure it'll hit me
When I walk through that door tonight
That I'm gonna miss her
Oh, lookie there, I've got a bite

Yeah, I'm gonna miss her
Oh, lookie there, I've got a bite

Hmmm,

Make sure your relationship has roughly equal amounts of give and take.

If it honestly does, then go. If she gets into a huff about it just suck it up and let her have her fit. Be warned though, this pattern is not likely to change with increasing levels of commitment.

If the give & take is not about the same than a day of fishing isn't the problem here.

Better yet, find a girl who loves to fish & eat fish. My wife does and when I want to go fishing I practically get my gear handed to me and pushed out the door. Tonight, I am making plans to go smelt fishing and the wife is sad because due to her having to work tomorrow she can not come.

Update:
Smelt fishing expedition went poorly. Three pulls and all we had to show for it was one 15" rainbow that was promptly replaced into Lake Michigan.

Well, if she's like me, you say, "Hey, I'm gonna go fishing tomorrow, want to come with?" and she either says "Yeah, where are we going?" or she says "Damnit, I have other stuff I have to do, you go and catch dinner and have fun, I'll see you later." Now, as long as you don't come home roaring drunk and being an *sshole, there's nothing to worry about.

Here's a question for you, if she's got something she wants to do, do you raise a big stink if she wants to spend the day without you? Do you call her every 15 - 20 minutes to make sure she's not up to anything she shouldn't be up to? If you want to go out all day, that should be fine, as long as you're fine with her going out all day. Does she have a job? If so, don't pay for her to go shopping or anything, she should pay for it herself.

I do agree with the making up for it with a nice dinner or a movie or something along those lines, but in a good relationship, there should be no problems on either end about the other person going out and doing something they enjoy doing. If she can't understand why you want to go fishing, why are you with her?

Has she ever fished? Have you ever offered to take her along? One of the reasons I like fishing where I fish is that even if you're not catching anything, there's manatees, and dolphins, and all kinds of birds and stuff, never boring.

Edited to add.....

Cuervo25.... I agree with most of your answer, but not all of us b*tch about being out fishing. Some of us actually enjoy it, so you can drop the stereotypes.

Tell her that you need some free time to spend fishing. If she can't deal with that then she is being to possessive of you.If she still doesn't go along with it just dump her and go fishing anyway.Usually the memories of a good fishing trip sticks around a lot longer than a girl does anyway.

ABSOLUTLY DO NOT BUY HER DIAMONDS OR GIVE HER MONEY, then you will have to everytime you want to fish. like feeding a stray it will never end. just go tell her tough s**t if she don't like it pack her stuff and go. Don't take her either they do nothing but gripe the whole time which makes you miserable.
I went today which my wife didn't care because i took our son which meant she got peace and quiet for 8 hours

I seriously agree with the guys that say loose her if she won't let you now she never will.

Take her with you........just keep in mind that if she is a beginning angler it is going to be up to you to make the trip enjoyable. Teach her the basics and slowly get her to the point where she is getting the hang of it and doesn't need as much of your help. It may take a few trips to accomplish this but if she catches on and has a good time then you have a fishing buddie for life. If it doesn't appeal to her maybe she will see how much enjoyment you get from it and she will be a little more willing to let you go occasionally. You just have to remember......it's tit for tat. If you go by yourself then you will have to make it up to her in some other way.........a nice dinner out / agreeing to go shopping with her / etc. Good Luck.

did you recognize that Chris Brown became a Taurus and Rhianna became an Aquarius? no longer an somewhat sturdy adventure, is it? yet, honestly i'm a Taurus and that i locate Aquarius's VERY beautiful yet a Capricorn is a greater useful adventure for a Taurus because of the fact they the two like the comparable issues {intercourse, money, households, artwork, luxury, workouts, and nature.} yet an Aquarius would be a pal to a Taurus.

ask her if she wants to come along. if she does make a day of it just enjoying being together. if not tell her to call up some of her friends and have a girls day while you and the guys go out fishing.

Tell her that if she lets you go fishing all day then when you get back she can have a day for the two of you to do whatever she wants and seriously WHATEVER she wants!

Brandon got it right, if she's not willing to go with, maybe she's not for you. The only problem I'd have with my man going fishing all day would be if he didn't take me along.
