When a person dies, no matter race, religion or gender, their spirit goes to either "paradise" or "prison", depending on their righteousness (or unrighteousness) during this life. The spirits in prison can be taught the gospel and can accept it - that is why we perform ordinances for the dead, so they might have the chance to "move" from prison to paradise and await the millenium and final judgement.
After those two events, all will inherit the kingdom in which they have attained glory to - Celestial, Terrestrial or Telestial and there are those few souls who will go to outer darkness, where satan and his angels will dwell for eternity.
All MUST have the opportunity to accept or reject the gospel, all must have the chance...when that chance is is up to God too, some people will say "well I will accept the gospel in the spirit world" but it may be too late then...that is why now is the time for us to prepare to meet God.

As stated before, no matter if Mormon or no longer, all will bypass to both spirit paradise or spirit penitentiary to look ahead to the millenium, judgement and then bypass to between the three ranges of "heaven" that are Celestial, Terrestrial and Telestial. We trust those in spirit penitentiary could have the probability to learn the gospel and both settle for or reject it - it truly is why we do temple ordinances for our ancestors. Many will say "nicely, if i will repent contained in the subsequent existence and settle for the gospel there, why stay it the following?" sturdy question. we do not recognize what God will evaluate your "threat" to settle for the gospel so some who would have had the probability the following, did not settle for it, then commonplace after this existence can in straightforward words attain glory contained in the 2d, Terrestrial, Kingdom. So, the time to stay the gospel is now, the time to practice to fulfill God is now.

That's six questions. You are only supposed to answer one at a time.
All (6) are one. The same thing happens to each. The body dies but the soul/spirit lives on.
