Lupus is not hereditary but there can be a genetic predisposition. Quite a different thing.

I know someone with lupus, no it is not contageous in any way. It can also skip generations and may never show p at all. There is no cure for it but it can be treated

No. Lupus is an autoimmune disease. It is not contagious, hereditary maybe, contagious no way.
