AC-DC-AC type ( i do not know exact name) There is DC interface These are ups *** voltage stabilizers. Work on inverter principle.

Static type in which thyristors are used in both upper and lower halves of cycle. There is a transformer which is a step up transformer and has ratio of about 160 / 250 volts. The thyristors conduct to achieve the required voltage.
