I have unbearable pain due to about 3 cavaties that I am going to have to wait until MONDAY to get filled. What can I possibly use to ease the pain for this long hopefully bearable weekend?

First of all, you didn't just get these cavities overnite, so they must have been bothering you for some time now. Why did you wait so long til the pain was this bad?

Secondly, you may be able to get an emergency appt. today...there are some dental clinics that work on Saturdays, especially in larger cities.

Until Monday...take Aleve, use Orajel or Anbesol, rinse with warm salt water. Try to stay busy to take your mind off pain. A few swigs of booze can't hurt, either.

I've never had a cavity before but I know that some people get an Aspro Clear and stick that on the sore tooth in their mouth for relief. You could maybe give that a try. Just don't go popping one after the other! Stick to the directions on the packet.

Apply clove oil. Take a small cotton ball enough to fill the cavity. Soak it in clove oil. and plug it in the cavity.
Remember clove oil causes blistering in your mouth or burning in the oral chamber.
But it is a sure shot remedy.

Ring up any general hospitals in your area. Some have emergency dentists on duty over the weekends.

Good luck!

I recommend waiting to go to the hair salon. You're better safe than sorry, trust me.
