If Christianity is not true?

Than how do you explain the success of the western world. God wants us to prosper and it's only because of the intervention of the west that other parts of the world have improved.

I know that God does not let us know he exists on purpose in order to test us, but if you pray and you read the Bible, you will know that Christianity is the one true religion and it is the only way to get into Heaven.

God helped the prosperity of the western world. Look how far behind Asia, South America, and Africa were before Christians helped them out. The success of the US was due to God. This was a Christian nation and it still is, despite what some liberal communists think.

God helped America succeed. That is a testament to the power of God and what he can do for people that follow the one true religion.

Look how well South American civilisation was doing before Christianity arrived - and almost wiped them out with this supposed gods diseases.

Look how well Africa was getting along on it's own - before Christians turned up to enslave the natives.

1) The west succeeded because it happened to own a land mass which was beneficial to conquering other tribes. Over generations they refined their skills into massive armies with highly technological war machines. (READ SOME HISTORY.)
2) The fact that other 'brown skinned' people did not conquer the world is based on the resources that were available to them and luck. Read the book Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond.
3) There is no god or any gods. Get over it.

Where did the people of West come from in the first place, it was Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe , Middle east, Islam gave the west world 3 meals a day routine, improved the worlds's education, improved the World's Medicine, those people who u say made American what it is some were actuallt Atheists, some were NOT practicing Christianity, some didnt even know anything about religion, the white race came from tribes from Eastern Europe, Persia ,Asia, the Oil goes to the west cuz of the Muslims arabs, without Oil western world today wud NOT even exist, ok so Arabs wnt get the money but they still would have madea living, and live an educated life as before, the western world is how it is today because of the influence of other races, and religions, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, people from all walks of life, innteligent, wealthy white former Christians are coverting aswell as others, what u say about that? dude think before posting a question (lol).

The US is NOT the west. At least, not the only one. You know, the world is a hell of alot older than your religion.

The Greeks and Romans worshipped Pantheons of much more ancient gods. They were part of the west and two of the most powerful civilizations the world has ever known. Pretty much everything we do now is based on things THEY created, including Democracy. God has not helped the west, ruthlessness has.

If buddhism is not true, how do you explain the OVERWHELMINGLY successful ancient asian cultures... its rediculous to claim that christianity or the favor of god created americas success. Don't you think it could be the vast physical resources, or trade situations that we developed? Maybe it was the fact that all the other world economies were decimated by wars (WWII, Vietnam, China-Japan war)? Many wicked ways had made wicked men prosper in USA. See how until now how Mafia can have control on sports, entertainments, gambling. prostitutions, drugs, piracies of products and mercenary works. See how the growth of gambling casinos, pornographic magazines, drug smugglings,and many known vices have made many to live like Kings, respected, feared and cheered. See how America gets to be great due to Arms and weapons deal in support of wars among neighbors. Count the trillion dollars worth of wealth by Christian preachers combined all together gathered from the hopefuls that their prayers will be heard from above. look at how rich are your churches, temples and businesses of the religions with wealth enough to feed the hungry of the world had they only been paying their taxes to the government. No, god hasn't helped America. God is fictional. Americans made America successful. We became successful by dealing in the real world in a realistic manner. we've used our advantages intelligently. Sometimes, we've prevailed through murder, violence and dishonesty. Was your god responsible for that, as well?

If God really wanted her people to prosper, then why would the history of the Jews be one long incident of major suck? Oh, and don't tell me she just abandoned them for the Christians. That's not a very loving thing to do.

God doesn't exist. The winners write the history books, so the successful cultures are the ones whose ideas survive, except when by freak chance (e.g. Judaism) they mix with Greek thought (the Greeks were successful) and morph into Christianity, where their monotheistic ideas grow thanks to the Roman Empire.

Read "Guns, Germs, and Steel" to get a good picture of why the West has been so advanced in recent centuries. Also keep in mind that the West really advanced post-Enlightenment, when religion started to die away. That's not a coincidence; religious thought probably held civilization back for hundreds of years, which we now call the Dark Ages.
