I would like to see you list all these alleged 2000 versions. There are many different versions, just like the Quran, but their are not over 2000, unless you are counting all the different languages of the world.

Punter, Punter,

THe bible has over 24,000 manuscripts that have been found .

More than 5.300 know greek manuscripts.
Over 10.000 Latin Vulgates. Homes Illiad which Im sure you trust as accurate only has 643 and considered a true representation.

You know that is a remarkable statement you make. Because it show the lack of investigations a person makes. Even if your claim "2000 versions" was true (which its not) by comparing all of them together you get closer to the originial source.

The Bible is more authoritative because it actually allows itself to be critiqued. God will protect His Word and wont lose it. Jesus is the Ruhallah "word of God". God's word is eternal.

Salaam alaykum

Over 2000 versions of the Bible? You don't know what you're talking about.

1. I don't believe you that there are more then 2000 versions. (If so what are they?)

2. I've believed in God all my life, and not until today have I heard of biblical business.

3. ...not worth it....

EDIT.... Yes a good choice of words. Why is it they 'EDIT" what Jesus taught or preached? Curious, no? Really NONE of the early CHristian, the GNOSTICS, texts are in the canonized version of the Bible. So what did they do, say... hmmmm... the kingdom of heaven is within you... hmm....how can we make money off of this? Oh I know! The kingdom of heaven is within you IF you believe MY version of the Bible, really it's hard not to since Catholics pretty much never published any of the other 50 books that didn't go into the BIBLE, and pay your tithes and don't question ME but have FAITH in what I tell you, than yes you WILL go to heaven. HAH!

Um... your question, or at least the way you wrote it, doesn't make any sense.

Try again? I'd be happy to answer if I understood what you were asking.

They're translations, not "versions". Has your religious text not been translated to any other languages?

Your attack on one religious text does not validate yours.
