Oh man, why haven't you asked this before?
YES you can feel Him. Absolutely you can feel Him.
Read the Second Chapter of Acts and see what the Bible says about it.
The first time I really "met" Him, He came and held me in such a powerful and beautiful way. It scared me to death and yet I knew exactly what and who I was feeling. If I could have opened my eyes I know I would have seen Him. And that was just the beginning. All I could do was just sit there and cry like a baby. I didn't receive the Holy Ghost that night, I was far too bashful to even pray. But I did receive the Holy Ghost a week later, just like it is recorded in Acts. Now, thirty-one years later, I can tell you that God is more tangible and real than this keyboard I'm typing on. I have seen and heard and felt and experienced things that some would never believe. And it's not just me. Anyone who receives the Holy Spirit will tell you the same thing. God does not change.
Those who truly know God know that we do not have to walk only by faith. He is always there to encourage and strengthen and help. He is always just a whisper away.
He's got a great sense of humor too by the way.

Actually my experience at church was always totally different and that's the place where I felt farthest away from God actually so I don't go anymore. When I'm at home and I'm praying or just feeling gratitude for how amazing life is and how loving God is, I do start to feel that way inside it's just a mixture of love and awe and lightness.
But I also had one moment a couple of years ago where I was going through a hard time and had a lot of baggage from my past and so I prayed to come out of it and I had a moment where I physically felt embraced by God or an angel or something. Of course I couldn't see it, but all I know is I felt completely immersed by pure love, all it offered was unconditional love and I felt peaceful and content for like the first time in my life. So God's always there and when you allow him in your life becomes way more relevant and beautiful.

Oh yes, definitely. I feel God's presence everyday because of my faith. I also experience that thing you're telling & it's wonderful!
One time my friend & I decided to stopped by in a church we've never been before. After exiting, we both asked one another if any of us felt a sudden loud, thumping heartbeat. And its amazing because both us felt that! Until now we keep on wondering why. Maybe it's God's presence telling us something that has a connection between us.

You know what there are quite a few scriptures which talk about the Presence of God. Like when Moses brought the people to Mt. Sinai and the people heard the voice of God. They were in His Presence and it was so powerful they told Moses we don't want to hear God's voice anymore, so you speak to us. Also, Moses's face was radiant and shining because he had been in the Presence of God. I had this experience also. After the Lord had visited me in a dream, the next morning my face was shining and radiant. In addition, the can see angels walking in my room a night sometimes, while my eyes are closed, and I feel the Presence of God in the room. In fact, when ever and angel showed up in the bible, the Presence of God was with them. Remember the soldiers at Jesus's tomb? When they saw the angel the fell like dead men, because of the Presence of God that was with them.

I think you can feel God's presence but alot more than just physically. I believe that having that physical feeling to much can make you rely on it and this may allow you to think that feeling is required to believe God heard you and is with you. Physical feeling is not required. God is everywhere all the time and sees you and has His hand on your life all the time. He hears when you pray even in the darkest time and is aware of every wonderful feeling you have and wants to share in every aspect of your life. He is always available whether you physically feel it or not.

I feel His presence in an psychic, emotional sense. But I did have Jesus sit next to me once and put his arm around me. I didn't see him, just felt the presence like an invisible person. That only happened one time long ago, the first time I prayed to him instead of to God.

well, it is much like the wind, you can see the result the wind has on nature but never actually see the wind, So, yeah, we feel God's presence, and we don't have to see Him to know that he's there, and feel Him. Blow air in your palm, do you feel that? May God fill us with His Spirit!

Whenever I'm in a church, I start to get this feeling in my stomach - sick to my stomach to see and hear all this bullshit
Once a year I'm obligated to go to my mother-in-laws church for homecoming. I'm only going to eat afterwards.
I do like the fellowship, but I can't follow the delusion...
