anything that affects how you think and behave, one example of a drug that is not psychoactive is naproxen sodium, which just reduces inflammation, or aspirin. examples of psychoactives would be almost any illegal drug (maybe not steroids), any drug with opiates, tranquilizers, amphetamines (speed), and a few others.
