get address numbers, the larger ones at Walmart and affix them to a place near the door. A wreath on the door is nice. Kmart has beautiful ones for 19.99. An American flag looks great, some are cheap. I bought a rectangular mail box and spray painted it and put on the front of my house and put artificial flowers to go with the season. You can do the same with a basket nailed to the house. A watering can--$1 to match your color scheme. A door mat, a few plants in pots and a couple of hanging plants. Voila!
