Why can't they come here legally instead of breaking the law and threatening our sovereignty?

Then it would be pointless to come here.

They come here because we pay them better than their own country.

BUT

We pay them less than the people in our own country.

So, if they were legal, then they would just be like anyone else and not be hired as much.

People are upset with the whole idea of immigrants in general. Often you will see arguments about illegal immigrants expand and include all immigrants in general. I can only attribute it to people not liking those who are different from them and those not liking change. People start out wanting a wall or other ridiculous proposal, then want to limit all immigration. I don't know if there is a solution to the problem but these are pretty obviously not it.

deport every illegal immigrant in the country. “If you’re here illegally, you are breaking the law — no better, no worse than the guy who robs the liquor store or the guy who waits to case your house out and robs you of your belongings,” he said. “You are a criminal.”
illegal immigrants are the blame for the state’s high property taxes, problems with uninsured drivers and violent crime. illegal immigrants were more likely to become terrorists. “Our country is at war right now, and it’s very important that we protect our kids, and one of the ways you can protect them is to not let undocumented immigrants into this country.

Did not ask that all immigrants be sent home, just those who are here ILLEGALLY. criminality of ILLEGAL entry and the amount of money it costs. The problem is that whenever the issue of ILLEGALS is raised the defense from those who support the lawbreakers is to lump all immigrants together. The fact is, we who demand tighter border security and and end to ILLEGAL entry are fed up with ILLEGALS. If they come legally, then that is okay, go through the process.

I think that it has something to do with paper work that needs to be filled out to become a legal U.S. citizen. It is just easier for them to try a break the law and come here that way.

Just want to add that people should lean the difference that the problem is "illegal" immigrants and not immigrants coming to the U.S.

Go to mexico and south you will find out. Go to the outside of the cities. Children naked, people that are starving.
But they are not the criminals-------- Their governments are the scum of the earth.
They would take back their countries but, the police will either kill you or put you in jail for a long, long time. They have guns, the people don't

This is one of the most inspiring and patriotic messages an immigrant has ever read and an American has ever held dear:

"Send us your tour tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."

The words can still be seen inside the Statue of Liberty.

Mexicans (and any other foreign national) who don't feel they need to respect our laws have no right to breathe our free air.

Come in through the front door, and most of us have no problem.

It isn't just America or Americans that do not want illegals. To my knowledge EVERY country has the desire that their borders are secure. mexicos immigration policy is far more strict that Americas, as a matter of fact theirs is one of the most anti immigration policies in the world.
