and also i would like to grow a mango tree, i live in washington, is it too cold? or the wrong climate? how would i plant one

I grew up eating mangos, and always ate the peel. To me is the best part. Go ahead...try it..is like eating the lemon peel which I do. Might be crazy but i love iit!

Mango trees also grow in southern Florida, but I wouldn't eat the peel. Then, I wouldn't eat orange or lemon peels either.
Best to buy them in the market -- Washington is apple country, not mango country.

No, you don't eat mango peel.
Mango trees thrive in Tropical areas, but some species thrive in sub-tropical areas, but they are rare. Since Washington is way above the sub-tropical, I think that mango plants will not live long enough for it to bear fruits in that state. Maybe it can in Northern California, but Washington is way too up north.

Mangoes only grow in tropical places like Nicaragua. Yes you can eat the peal (like you can an apple). Some people don't care for it. It is a bit tough.
I don't think you should try growing a mango tree. It would die. Try and apply or cherry tree. I think you would have better luck with those.

You are not suppose to eat the mango peels...but if you like eating them...then by all means go ahead...hehehe.
Mangoes thrive in tropical places...I don't think it will grow in cold region.

You can eat the peel if you want, it wont hurt you. As far as a tree, go to a greenhouse and ask, or look it up, find out what you need to know about growing one. Good luck

The fact is that the value of any food is in its peel. If you like it, eat it.
However, it might be dangerous to sensitive people so B4 you start, taste a small piece and if all is well...........you know what to do

No, don't eat them.
Mango's are a tropical plant. Don't try to grow them up north.
