My husband has this lump think i guess you could call it at his butt hole. It doesn't hurt at all, no bleeding, no discoloration. It's "Uncomfortable". Could this be a hemorrhoid? If so, what is the easiest way to get rid of it? Do the wipes and the creams work? Must he see a doctor? He doesn't really want to do that just because he doesn't want to deal with that but if that's the only way then he will. Do they always hurt, bleed?

This question is to be taken seriously. Anyone who wants to joke around about it will be immediately reported.

Hemorrhoids are not "at" the anus, they are in it and may protrude out of it. If this lump is not in his anus but is near it, it is probably the beginning of a pilonidal cyst. This is a cyst at the bottom of the tailbone that can become infected and filled with pus. I say beginning because right now it is "uncomfortable" but not yet painful.

Early in the process of the cyst, sitting in a warm tub may decrease the pain and lessen the chance that the cyst will develop to the point of requiring medical intervention.

However, if it progresses, it is usually best to see a doctor, particularly if he develops any of the following symptoms:
pain at the bottom of the spine (tailbone)
swelling same area
redness
fever
notice pus draining from area

A pilonidal cyst is really an abcess so it needs to be drained to get rid of the infection and encourage healing. Draining it will also relieve the pain.

BTW, these cysts are usually caused by ingrown hair at the end of the spine. When the doctor drains a cyst, he usually also removes the hair. Please note, there are several surgical options...some which will really lessen the chances of a recurrence. A straight "incision and drainage" will not decrease the chances of a recurrence but it will relieve your pain and symptoms and it is the fastest healing of all methods.

Please tell your husband not to be embarassed to see a doctor. Unfortunately, this will come back and it is better to see a doctor than to suffer. He may need an antibiotic so he should see a doctor if the discomfort turns to pain or he progresses to any of the symptoms I listed above.

Now, if it is a hemorrhoid, over the counter products will provide temporary relief. Often though, hemorrhoids are only uncomfortable after having a bowel movement. The rest of the time, most of the discomfort comes from itching...not pain.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/8Szor
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

Hemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins in the anal canal. They can be itchy, bleeding and/or painful protrusions just under the skin. To get rid of hemorrhoids you can use this natural method that already have thousands of positive reviews https://tr.im/5LKDY
There are two types internal and external. Internal are inside the anal canal in the lower rectum and external are at the anus. They result from increased pressure in the veins often due to straining during bowel movements and during pregnancy. Scratching in an attempt to relieve the itching symptoms further weakens the area and compounds the problem.
