can some one please tell me the meaning of the word (palmelas)
my girl used it in a sentence which was:
lets see how u like it with the 5 palmelas!!!!! so can u please give me the meaning i dont know if the word is spanish or french i only speak english but she knows alot of other languages

i dont know what palmelas means.. but i know what palmera means: palm tree.

why not just ask her what it means?

I found it used in a sentence about large, fragrant grapfruit smelling fruits. I know there are these large grapefruit like fruits that are also called Pummelos. Maybe the same thing, maybe not. Anyhow here is a bit of the sentence and the link is below.

" ate fragrant grapefruit-like huge palmelas "

Palmera = date palm

It couls also be

pamela = low-crowned, wide-brimmed woman´s straw hat

palmada = slap, pat (with the hand); handclap

is not a spanish word I think neither french .Theres is a spanish word that is (Palmeras) but this is Palms in english.
