Glycolic Acid is very effective against breakouts such as these. You could try something like Glytone which is a body exfoliator and gentle enough that it wont exaggerate the problem. Benzoyl Peroxide is such a strong chemical that it can send the skin into overstimulation, producing more oil and making the problem worse!
You will find Glytone at: http://www.dermstore.com/reviews/details_5071.htm
There are some good reviews by other users that have purchased this product too. Its good to know that others have found it effective before you purchase anything. Its also very well priced which is another bonus.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Avoid alcohol, acids, and chemical solutions. Your skin needs to train itself to balance “sebum” and oil and naturally fight bacteria. Alcohols, salicylic acid, Retina-A, and benzoyl peroxide, actually dry the skin; and because they are synthetic, acne-causing bacteria become immune to the chemically created solutions. Why? Because chemical solutions are created to treat the type of bacteria they sought to treat that was in existence when the solutions were made. Unfortunately, bacteria are living organisms and they learn to mutate quickly. When mutation occurs, salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide fail.
Step One.
Go all-natural. Essential oils, natural herbs, and natural nutrients are the best way to kill acne. Fight nature by using nature. Essential oils are higher powered and more effective than any acid or peroxide created in a lab that was “derived” from some natural source. They are extremely potent and not harmful to your skin. Furthermore, they actually help to balance sebum without making your skin oily. The best product on the market that has essential oils and kills acne is Beauty 4 Ashes Acne Eliminating Facial Kit. The makers claim that there stuff works overnight; and I have to say, it really does. It exfoliates and cleans your skin brilliantly. This product is also packed with lots of skin healing ingredients, including Aloe Vera. In the two months that used it, my acne and scars literally disappeared. Best yet, in one year, my acne and blemishes have not returned and my pores have shrank. Beauty 4 Ashes has several skin care products created to treat acne, but I recommend ordering their kit first to get a bit of everything. You can find it online at www.discoverb4a.com.
Step Two.
Consider taking flax oil on a regular basis. You need to keep your system clean. But, you don’t need to spend tons of money on vitamins labeled nature’s cure. All you need to do is to flush your system of unnatural chemicals and preservatives that might be triggering your breakouts. You can buy flax oil anywhere. Check out Vitamin Shoppe or WalMart.
Step Three.
Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day. This will flush your system from all impurities and toxins.

Ive had bacne at one stage and i just basically left it alone with occassional scrbubing. I suggest to not clean and scrub them too hard all the time. Maybe just one mild cleansing will do. If you do exercises and you feel sweaty around your shoulders, always clean your skin after the exercise, because oils and dirt will get into the skin which will probably make it worse.
Oh and try not to scratch at the pimples, as it will just leave marks.

The scrubs and benzoyl peroxide are probaly doing more harm then good. They irritate the skin causing you to have more breakouts. I have the same problem, one day they just appeared. I just take my facewash, which is a normal facewash, no medication, no special ingrediants, it just does its job. I use that in the shower and it all dissapears! Try it!
