Getting This Girl Back...?

Alright now Im in high school and im not the kind of guy to do this, but I thought i might get some help on here. I dont usually have trouble talking to chicks/getting girlfriends but me and my girlfriend of awhile just broke up and Im just done w/ all of her sh!t.

I just started talking to this chick I was w/ back in Middle School (a few years ago). I dont really know what Im asking here but Im starting to like this girl again, alot. What can I do/say to see if shes getting what Im getting w/o it being like really awkward?

You may already be at a point where it is most awkward not to just come right out and say you want to go out with her again. Just ask her out dude.
