Shave upward first, then downward. And always make sure to use soap and water, or some other sort of shaving lotion, so that the razor works better.

On your underarms hair grows in all different directions, so you should shave in all different directions, too.
You said that iff you shave in the direction of the hair growth you get nicks. It's normally the opposite. You're not supposed to shave in the direction of the hair because it gives you razorburn, nicks, and, like you said, doesn't work.
I think the solution to your problem is to shave against the hairgrowth, but don't press down as hard. That might be what you were doing wrong. If you still get nicks, try using shaving cream. If you don't want to go out and by a shaving cream, use conditioner. My friend told me conditioner was great for shaving, and I didn't believe her, but when I tried it, it worked great!

Try to fist put some skin lotion on then follow it with shaving cream. Also try one of those vibrating razors the new type they work well and there's one for women. Good Luck!

purchase a gillette fusion razor. it's amazing. it vibrates and i never get razor burn, ever. and definitely use some kind of soap, shave gel, etc. when shaving under your arms. i always shave downward when shaving under my arms. also with the fusion razor has a single blade at the top that i use for under my arms.

sturdy.. positive of route. seeing that your lower than-arm is extremely warm, it may sweat somewhat and stick with the epidermis touching. it ought to ensue to someone who sweats. even with the actuality that, once you do not shave, that's much harder to carry gentle, so, even as you do sweat, it might many times fragrance somewhat extra even as now no longer treated.
