That is bizarre... never heard of that before. Are you sure this is a church and not a cult?? Just wondering.

Hi, Brother. My church doesn't practice that. They don't ask too much of your details and they don't arrange your seat. I have no idea why your pastor wants to do that. The only logical reason could be some of them are deacons or assistant pastors and their spouse or children. If they are not, and was really arrange to be seated in what you had implied, then I don't think this is right. In the house of God, all are His children. There is no difference in any of us. Unless they are first timers, which is understandable.

That's not right....Find a Bible believing church that doesn't do that. If they do it, go on to the next church. It's a House of God not a place for the rich.

Sounds very wrong!
My Church is a mixed congregation. There's richer and poorer.
There's scripture about what you speak of; James 2:3.
You're not to prefer someone with money over someone that's poor!

It is very bad to hear such things are happening in the church , but still what Bible says is the least in this world will stand first in heaven so we should await that.

Well here in India , my Church is totally the opposite .

the same; they measure and weigh your wallet before you enter. If too light, you are seated next to the toilets.
