Just wait. You'll find your dog. Call the shelter and the humane society and get some posters up. Ask the neighbors.

You have lost something you love. Give yourself time to grieve! In a month or so when you can think about the wonderful times you had with your dog and not feel lost and super sad, you may begin to think about a new best friend. If you get a dog too soon you may pick the wrong dog to adopt.
Time will heal. And when the right dog comes along you won't have to think twice. Grieve and remember for though death causes heartache, love lives forever in the heart.

By lost do you mean he got away?
If you think he's still alive, make posters, offer a reward. Check shelters. Bring photos to the shelter so that employees can identify your dog if it's brought in.
If the dog has passed away, I'm very sorry for your loss.
The best therapy is another dog. Really, they keep you so busy, and won't let you be sad.
Good luck

Dog are not disposable. I suggest you go looking for your dog before you even consider getting another one.
Or do you mean lost as in passed away. If the latter, then please accept my apologies for my answer and my condolences. Wait a bit to get over your loss. Wait a good 6 months at least before you consider adopting again.

Why be scared?? Did you lose your dog, and can't find it, or your dog died?? If you are so scared, wait a little.. It seems maybe you are one of those people who need time to get over things.. Could be you aren't ready yet.
What does your mommy say?

give it some time first. a couple of weeks at least, then make a decision... sounds a little careless if you are already thinking of a new one... did you really care about your dog, its hard for me to understand this since its not a clear question as to what you mean by lost. GIVE IT SOME TIME REGARDLESS.

dont be afraid the first thing to do is wait the whole day if the dog finds its way home and if not go around your block and ask if they have seen the dog and be extra specific to describe the dog.if not put up lost signs.

Why don't you wait a few days till you can figure out what it is you really want. Don't go out and get any dog, you'll probably get something you may not be compatible with. then you and your new dog will suffer for it.
