Even when someone did me dirt, if I ever loved that person, it took years to stop loving that person, even though I was sure never to make contact again. Do you feel the same way?

I feel the same way. My past relationship didn't last very long, at least not long enough for me to say I love him, but I did care tremendously for him and when he dumped me to go back out with his ex-girlfriend, I was really hurt. I stopped eating for like a week, I cried a lot, I was moody and didn't like to be around people. But, anyways I still have feelings for him and I am still having a hard time getting over him.

Yes, if you have "really" loved a person you will always love them. If this is not the case you never loved them in the first place.

U can still luv some1 even if they did hurt u. It's a feeling that won't go away and when u think it's gone, you've only just buried it. Luv is a hard thing. It's hurtful, confusing, frustrating, happy, ect. But u can still luv the person, it's called forgiveness.

Yes, I've only ever truely loved one person in my life and even though we went thru bad times and he has since passed, I still love him and don't think I will ever stop loving him. Don't think I will ever love any one like I loved him.

yes. you will always love someone even if you break up. you may not have the same sort of love, but you will still always love and care for that person.

That one love, that lost love, will never leave you. I was engaged about 10 years ago....we separated without him giving me his reasons for the breakup. I have moved on.....am in a very loving relationship, and am soooo happy. However, when something goes wrong in my life or I feel lonely, I dream of my ex. In my dreams I am searching for him, but can never find him. No, that one love will never leave you. They claim a piece of your heart forever.

it depends! for me yes if i really love that person bcoz its not dat easy to frget the feelings u've feel for him/her...even if u say its over...u cant lie that the feeling is still der...but bcoz of the pride u'll just say its nothing but deep insde thres a hope that u two will still end up happilly ever after..

I guess I'm just different because to me when i let go i stop loving and it takes alot for me to give up...now it doesn't mean the memory isn't there and i do think about that person ...just because i still care doesn't mean i still love...
