At 26 , already divorced a few years ago ,being a single mother...I don't think right now she wants to get involved with anyone. When she feels she wants to...she will go on out there., but for now, help her get her self esteem back...and perhaps not put the pressure on her to 'go on a date'...how bout just starting with going out and having fun* once in a while..and if she happens to meet someone...let things happen when they should. When it's meant to be ..it will be. She is still young....BestWishes*

Sometimes it is hard once you have been through a divorce. It makes you look and see the dating scene in a totally different way. Encourage her, plan something shes comfortable with, and give her time. It took me about a year and half after my divorce to really feel like I could put myself out there again. It was really really hard but I was ready. She has to be ready!

A woman doesn't need a man to be complete. Not knowing you there can be all kinds of things going on. Was your sister in an abusive relationship prior to her divorce? Maybe she is still trying to work things out for herself.
If she is healthy, and not depresses, then just let her be. One day, there will be a guy who may just light up her fire.

Apparently she hasnt gotten over the divorce and all the other problems that goes along with that bad situation. You can encourage her to move on, but dont force her. She still needs some personal time to heal from within.

She will meet the right guy at the right time, just give her the time to meet him. Don't push her into dating, she might be happy spending all her time with her kids, if you push her out in the dating world right now that might be when she will get hurt and be unhappy. Let her be and let her go at her own pace.

I think she knows whats best for her, and if that special guy should come along, she will know it....my gf was same way until I came along, 7 yrs no dating...she still can't believe we are an item, she said she planned to raise her boys on her own and remain alone...ours is a special relationship...so will your sisters...give it time, she is.

Maybe she's happy being single. I waited till I was 32 to get married, and every single day I wish I was still single.

She's probably scared. I am newly single and it is very scary to start dating again. She will in her own time. Just keep being supportive, you sound like a great brother.
