I'm an Atheist and I was wondering what you think about us Atheists. Also, Why do you believe in God? Where did you find the proof that he exists? I'm just curious, because it's hard for me to understand without ACTUAL proof.

The only reason they believe in god is b/c of a book, and the only reason they believe the book is b/c "God said so"...

It's a total oxymoron.

Atheist are a wonder to me...they can't understand why anyone would believe in God and I can't understand why anybody wouldn't.
My proof is in my relationship with Jesus and answered prayer. And more important free of the weight of sin. See unless you have experienced salvation it's impossible to understand. Take this really bad example: You go to the chiropractor because something in your back doesn't feel right...he pops you all back in place and for the first time you can feel what it is like to be aliened the way your body is suppose to be. Salvation in Christ is the same way...you may feel like something is missing...or your questioning the meaning of life but until you have excepted Christ into your heart you'll never know how it feels to be as you are suppose to be. Make since? Anyway Atheist are kinda funny to me for a couple reasons. One they think the human scientific mind can explain away the idea of God. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to know that if there is a God he's probably a bit more intelligent than any human. And two that they feel the need to convince Christians that they are wrong. Again back to the chiropractor story. Once were in place we know the truth. All in all some atheist on here are sincere and some are just immature children rebelling against religion. It's these people that it's not that they can't believe it's that they wont believe.

There is actual proof. The Bible. The Bible has been proven in science for many years. Just look at Israel. Israel IS actual proof. Take a look at our world. The proof is all around you.

What I find intresting is that Atheists have rarely put as much energy into learning Gods Word as they do into being critics of Gods Word. The Bible is full of prophecys that have come true and are there are many more that are getting ready for fullfillment! Are you ready?

I can tell you what I think of Atheists: You are a child of God and he love you.

Why do I believe in God...because he has been my Father since I came into being. He knew me before I was created. He has moved in my life since I can remember and has moved in countless ways in my life as an adult. When my faith was wavering he still waited patiently for me and guided my heart. I find great joy and satisfaction that those that I love that are faithfull to him I will see at the end of my life.

I love that I am more than just my time here on earth. If there is no begining and there is nothing in the end than why? Why try so hard to even be a good person? It wouldn't matter. So why worry that we are killing our earth or murdering each other? If there is no existence and there is no God. Why Care? That would mean YOU are meaningless. I don't believe that! You have purpose and God put you here for a reason! Praise The Lord! Just pick up a Bible and really read it.

God Be With YOU!

I think atheists are just regular people like anyone else. We all have free will and the choice to accept God's gifts, and atheists are those who choose not to, for a variety of reasons.

The very concept of God is above the realm of science and therefore cannot be proven, so if that's your standard, you're pretty much guaranteed to stay an atheist. I personally believe in God because I can sense that I am being listened to when I pray, and because some things are just too coincidental to be explained by human reason alone.

I was born a christian, but dint know that God exists. I have friends who believe various religions and some who believed that God is not there, whatever their belief was yet they were my friends.
But I have depended on God during my childhood when I cannot overcome difficult situations.Manytimes when things get normal, I thought it was co-incidence. But lately as Jesus told in the bible, when I was praying for Holy Spirit, I recieved God's precious gift. I know for sure now that God is there. I feel His presence so loving and gentle.
The reason I tell this is because, when u find that these are true, your life will be changed completely from whatever it is to wonderful. God is not boring or traditional or imaginary. He is there so loving giving an ear to listen to us however boring and stupid feelings that we cannot bear and ask Him to change those things.

Just tell Him(God) a line of words like, "please let me know you" or "help" or anything, I know He will listen to you more than anybody in this world.

Athelutionists are profoundly unscientific. Just to give you an idea -- 93% of the National Academy of Sciences doesn't believe in God. Which means that 7% do.

How could atheists be scientific if they are ignoring the overwhelming opinion of 7% of the National Academy of Sciences? Further, they entirely ignore the growing scientific opinion among BOTH Evangelical pastors and Evangelical choir leaders that evolution is wrong. In fact, the theory of Evolution has yet to be published in a single pastor-reviewed scientific journal. (Perhaps that's why it hasn't been upgraded to a hypothesis!)

Perhaps the most astonishing thing about atheologians is the amount of faith they have that observable evidence is evidence at all, and that logic is logical at all. They can only validate their so-called logic with logic itself, and if that's not circular reasoning, I don't know what is.

The bottom line is that atheists start every day by asking themselves, "What would Satan do?" Then of course, they deny it. Their denial only further proves it, because denying it is exactly what Satan would do.

I don't judge nor have any ill will towards atheists, I never read where Jesus called a group of atheists a brood of vipers, He saved that for the religious... "If there is a God, atheism must seem to Him as less of an insult than religion." - de Goncourt.
As far as your other questions, I'm sure you already know there is no proof of God, only our personal experiences, and those experiences can make it easy to believe. For the hell of it, another lame quote states, "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence."

To say that you are an atheist is to say "there is no God" correct? This is an absolute statement. For an absolute statement to be true, one must have absolute knowledge.

It would be like me saying "there is no gold in China." For this statement to be true, I would have to know everything about China. I do not know everything about China so I can't make this claim.

A so called Atheist can't know everything, and so can't make the claim "there is no God."

It was said that Man will never know more than 1% of all the knowledge of the universe. So, if we are truthful with ourselves, must see that in all that we don't know, there may just be ample evidence for God. When you can agree to that, then you must change the absolute statement to "from what limited knowledge I now have, I believe there is no God."

This is what is commonly called an Agnostic. There is no such thing as an Atheist.

Either God is who He says He is, or He isn't. Jesus is the Savior, or He isn't. The Bible says that Jesus will manifest Himself to anyone that will obey Him. (John 14:21)

It has been said that an Atheist can't find God just like a bank robber can't find a policeman. Don't be an Atheist. Seek in truth and humbleness. You will find the truth.

The so-called (at_HE_IS_ts) are spiritually dead ones or Spreadones. The (at_HE_IS_ts) are lacking any common sense. The (at_HE_IS_ts) are no different than your normal Christian in many ways, except they are spiritually blind and deaf. The (at_HE_IS_ts) ego is much like Satan's ego, for example, their self proclaimed wisdom restricts learning of spiritual knowledge. The (at_HE_IS_ts) think this abiding in a flesh body is all that life is. Sadly some (at_HE_IS_ts) promote their non-believe which is actually promoting spiritual death.

I believe in God because of His creation, His Word, His Spirit, and His love.

The proof of God's existence is all around us and everywhere. It is called creation and life. The proof of God's existence is in His Word, in the form of His Spirit, His wisdom, His knowledge, His love, and His prophecy.

The question becomes, what exactly would prove it to you? A miracle before your eyes. God appearing before you. Tell me, what exactly proves it to you?

During the exodus the Israelites saw many wonders. Yet many fell short of truly believing in God.

Let me answer for you. Nothing proves it to you.

I have nothing against anyone that believes 'whatever'!

I'm from California and I had a few friends at UCLA that Atheist. A few of them are NO LONGER - But Saved - Praise the Lord! Some of them still are - I'm still Praying for them. Several of them are still Friends that I talk to this day many years after our University experience as students. I have always treasured my friends. I try to get to know them for who they are - I feel 'This' Is right.

I KNOW God IS REAL because He Saves us - He changes us - COMPLETELY! I have seen so many amazing things of the LORD! Jesus even has HEALED ME OF CANCER! Yes, Stage 2 Ovarian!!!!! I've also had the Privilege of seeing other people Healed from the Lord!!!! It is awesome to see.

I'm a former nurse - and I've had patients go to my Church unbelieving but curious - Sick - and Some of them God Healed!!!!! I saw the medical tests before and after - It Is INCREDIBLE!

I Personally believe that it takes a LOT more to believe as an Atheist than it does to be a 'Christian'.

GOD IS REAL - HE IS MORE REAL THAN YOU OR I.

I will also Pray for you that you come to Jesus as your 'Personal Savior'.

Please Be at Peace!

Take Care and God Bless!
