The five points of the star represent the five elements, Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. The circle symbolizes the connection that each has to the other. That one cannot be without the others.

The circle represents wholeness. The five arms of the star represent the five elements in harmony within the circle.

It stands for the 5 elements. Earth, water, air, fire, and spirit. The circle joins them together. It is also a sign of protection.

The pentagram is a mockery of the 6 pointed 'star of David'...It is five, which is less than 6.

Six is an even number; five is an odd number...ergo..the 5 represents an incompletion.

Six is the number of man: head, arms, legs and tail.
Five is half of a ten..and number of completeness.

Now, why would it last all these centuries? Because, the wicked ones "have to" disclose themselves. In one way or another, God has made a law that they 'must' disclose who they represent; then, if women and men still seek them, it is on the man/woman for their choices. Ain't God brilliant !!!

A star. Check out pagan mythology on wikipedia or something. Christians made it seem evil. However, pagan celebrations like the winter solstice--the christians changed into Christmas!

Another interpretation says that each point represents a limb, so it would depict a human being

Fal, why would you ask this? You know very well exactly what it means. Are you trying to draw out the stupidity of the masses?
