If a guy asks you to eat lunch with him and his friends (13years old) but then one of his friends says they're going to be mean to us and he turns around and tells you not to come so your not hurt what would you take this as?

Hey I know what this is like too. What ever you do make sure you don't think it is because of you. Its not that he doesn't like you its just that he doesn't want you to get hurt. Take this alternative, ask the guy to come eat at your table then everybody wins. Hope this helps.

I would take it as he needs to have a serious talk with his so called friends. As to why they plan on being mean and for what reason. There is not a good reason to be mean to anyone and tell them they are going to grow older and need to learn how to finish the job of growing up. When they become adults they may decide to become something the world will not know how to handle and they will end up in jail. But to be real tell them they need to learn how to handle life and all in a positive way not so negative wanting to be mean. That is not a good thing and tell him he had better have a talk with his so called friends. He needs to tell them that they need to learn how to handle things in a positive way not a negative one. aww... ur guy sounds so sweet and nice. Go anyway and show them that you're not gonna b pushed around by stupid immature 12-14 year olds. Trust me, that age group boys (well most of them) are just sooo immature and full of themselves, so just ignore them and act like you couldn't care less. Either that or come up with some really good comebacks.

I would forget about it. you can do way better than that because if he really likes you he would tell his friend to knock it off. but sooner or later you will find a guy that will want you to sit with him at lunch and he won't let his buddies be mean to you.

if he said it in a funny not serious way then he was just trying to scare you. or he doesn't like you and thinks that you are too sensitive to what they are going to talk about. if this guy insists then tell him that his friend told you not to come b/c you were going to get hurt. Just go and stay with the guy that invited you and don't pay attention to the guy that told you that. he might to hurt your feelings.
