Is there anything more important that the Bible could communicate? Why is it ambiguous and contradictory on this subject?

So which is it, repentance or belief in Jesus?

Or being born again?

Yeah. If your going to be faced with eternal hellfire, don’t you want to be really really sure how to avoid it?

Read Deuteronomy 24:16
Ezekiel 18: 3-26
Jeremiah 31:29-30
You will that saving ones souls doesn't really need Jesus to die for the sins of anyone.
It is not the Bible that is inconsistent, it is the religion specially the Christian Religion. It may say in Isaiah that that Messiah was killed for the transgression against God, it was addressed to the Jews who does want to follow the written laws handed down to Moses. the saving does not include the whole world.

The bible can not be more clear than this: This is how you can be saved. The simplicity of the gospel is what makes it hard for those who continue to try and reason this thing out. Just believe, that's what faith is all about. ---Romans 10:9,10 say,"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Confession and faith are the keys to salvation. We must make our confession of our sins and also confess the Lord as our Savior in order to receive forgiveness. 1st John 1:9 says, that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Our confession of faith in Jesus, knowing that He died on the cross, was buried, and rose again on the third day is the answer to what it is you need to believe in to receive salvation. If you can be contacted email then we can continue this conversation further. My prayers are with you, God Bless

P.S.
All of these real intelligent people have all the answers outside of the written words of truth from the bible so I can best sum it up by asking this one question...

What would you do if you've had the opportunity to recieve Jesus into your life and you refused Him? Then He shows up to judge the world and you'd just given up your chance at eternal life. Wouldn't you rather accept Him into your life and confess Him as Lord and then find out He didn't exist and no harm be done, instead of not doing it at all then finding out later that you will spend eternity in hell? Think about it ...

It is for some of the peoples own protection. If a sin is committed in complete and utter ignorance then it is not a sin.
This part is hard to put into words....... God is only going to give you as much perception of the bible as you are willing to accept. ps,, John 3:16 says it as clear as you would ever need it to be!!!

Is true saved is difficult to explain,Bible tells u how to save ur soul but only what HE think is correct, somehow it maybe wrong for others.
Example:jesus help a blind old man to see again, but then the old man only happy for few sec as later he may see something ugly in life,he may have to stave as not work for him, he cannot begged anymore as he is not blind, his fear grow as he saw something which he dont know.
So question is did jesus really help him?

We are saved by grace, not by works, so that no one can boast.
We are saved by grace alone. Recall that in Acts 16:31 the jailer asked Paul and Silas how to be saved. They responded, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." The jailer believed and immediately became saved.
Close to 200 times in the New Testament salvation is said to be by faith alone - with no works in sight. Consider the following:
John 3:15 tells us that "everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."
John 5:24 says, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my words and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."
In John 11:25 Jesus says, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies."
John 23:46 says, "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness."
John 20:31 says, "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
If salvation were not by faith alone, then Jesus' message in the Gospel of John - manifest in the above quotations - would be deceptive, stating that there is one condition for salvation when there are allegedly two - faith and works.
I must emphasize that we are saved by faith for works. Works are not the condition of our salvation, but a consequence of it We are saved not by works, but by the kind of faith that produces works.

Eph 2:8-10 God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this: It is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

When the question "What must we do" was asked, there was a very clear answer:
Read Acts 2:37-38
Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The Bible itself is Very Clear.
Compare what you've *heard*, with what the God's Word *actually* says, (there are Scripture links for ease of checking) at:

It is those who misrepresent what it says that make it *appear* to be ambiguous &/or contradictory, not what it itself says.

...In John 7:17 Jesus says this, "If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether I speak from God, or whether I speak from Myself."
...Are you willing to do whatever God says? If not, why bother asking your questions? If yes, then understand that God commands us to humble ourselves and repent, (meaning to change our minds concerning what He says about us, to agree with Him,) and to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone, to be saved.
...We are sinners by nature and by choice (Romans 3:23). We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus (Ephesians 2:8-9), apart from any works we can do.
...Jesus Christ is God's only provision for sin...He is eternal God, He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the 3rd day according to the Scriptures.
...God calls you and me to repent and believe the Gospel. Apart from Jesus you and I will perish.
...Whosoever will, may come.
..
...What do you still misunderstand?
...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved.
...(Acts 16:31)
...By the way, I believe in every case,we are told to believe on Christ for salvation; but not in every case is baptism mentioned.

the bible says it rather simply. "Unless you are born of water and spirit, you shall by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" --John 3 : 5. Also, Peter says to repent and be baptized. baptism refers to both the baptism of the water and the spirit
