He will stay with DEI. It is where he wants to be and Theresa Earnhardt will give him what he wants because she knows that DEI will flounder with out him. If Dale didn't want to be at DEI he wouldn't be trying to resign with them.

It's hard to tell what Jr. will do at this point. I hope he has the guts to start his own team, at the very least go to a different team. Really, what will DEI be without Jr.? Who knows maybe he'll be able to pull some of the other guys out of there too.
It's pretty low of DEI, family, to pull the plug on Jr. That must feel awful. He's the biggest name they have.

Whatever happens to him and where ever he goes he will get support. I mean he is one of the most popular drivers in the sport. I think DEI better realize this because without Jr. It doesn't have any of those big name drivers and they would most likely go down hill. If Dale did decide to leave I could see him starting his own team. That is what he is after.

I don't think he's going anywhere. I believe the contract talks will work out and Jr. will be at DEI for a long time to come.

If this turns out to be wrong, I can't see him starting his own Cup team. He would probably go to another team (like RCR!!) and get things done there.

I think he will stay with DEI under a compromise. However, I hope he does not make the same mistakes Michael Waltrip is making by juggling racing and managing 3 teams. I think the logical choice for a championship run would be Childress, Gibbs, or Hendrick, but I don't think it's probable.

I think he has enough backing right now to do whatever he chooses. I would like to see him get in the 3 car with Childress. I think it would really boost his popularity and a lot of people would watch again if the old #3 was out there again. He is taking more of a chance going at it alone. JR Motorsports needs to be a sideline for a few more years to establish it more solidly in NASCAR. We don't need another Waltrip disaster.

most likely he will stay with DEI, and he already has his own company, Jr Motorsports (although not in Cup yet). If he did leave he prob. wouldn't race for his own team though.

If he doesn't get majority ownership from his step-mother, then I think he'll go with RCR. Richard Childress has already said he can easily change one of his cars paint schemes to red.
