Hi, I would say both because you have had a lot of things through your life that you could relate to others about and you can really help someone out which is awesome and also there maybe someone close to you or even someone here on answers that could give you some good advice on something that your stuck on so either way it's all good.

The greatest gift is "Love".
The gift of discernment (Wisdom), allows a person to see things as they actually are, not clothed in a veil of illusion.
These two gifts are rare to find within the same human being..........
Giving or receiving advice should always be analyzed with wisdom.....
This is what an old man once said.

I think the best gift we can give each other is the gift or prayer.

That way we aren't giving advice which is fallible. And we aren't taking advice that is fallible. We are seeking the guidance of the One who knows the plans He has for us.

Both, because if you are knowledgeable, what a joy it is to share what you know, but if you do not know then it is like a gift to receive that knowledge.

Taking it....it implies that one has to be open to receiving. To give is to remain in control. Jesus humbled himself unto death on a cross.....we can at least learn to humble ourselves and realize that other people do have something to offer us! We can indeed give up control...its very freeing.
