How to Get Him to Make a Move
Do you like a guy but are scared to make the first move? Here are some tips.
Steps
Get to know him, such as his favourite TV shows or hobbies. It's easier getting to know him so he's used to you.
Make sure you are comfortable with each other. Sit with him at lunch, or ask him to help you study. Don't go over the top all at once. He could get scared away (It happens!)
Once he knows you well, smile at him and act friendly. Let him know you're nice and harmless!
DON'T be scared to talk to him. If you can't speak, he might act weird around you.
Be yourself! Guys love honesty.
When you are good friends, share thoughts. Don't be afraid to grab him by the arm.
He will love that you are honest, nice, and are not afraid to be yourself.
Make the first move yourself. Even shy guys will open up when they know you like them.
Tips
If he is shy, he will eventually get around to it, but he could be a little nervous.
Look him in the eye and smile. This will show him that you like him, and will give him the confidence to ask you out.
If you know he's going to ask you, keep it to yourself! Nothing is more embarrassing than telling all your friends and having it turn out a false alarm.

Boys can be pretty shy. My daughter and her friends help each other out by dropping hints to the boys or flat out asking if they would consider going with so-and-so. Takes the pressure off.

okay, how do you know if the guy likes you? just because someone is nice to you doesn't necessarily mean they want to go out. i ask because if he's given you any indication that he liked you, why wouldn't he ask you out? right? so look again maybe you're reading him wrong. what ever you do, don't make the first move. if you did read wrong and he rejects you, that could be embarassing. just do some soft flirty gestures with your eyes. if he likes, he'll bite.
