He is really scary looking and I had a nightmare about him. Does anyone else find him scary?

Yeah...that dude freaks me out too. I printed out a picture of him on my bubble-jet printer and now I poke holes in it with a sharpened pencil. It makes me feel like I own the Pope. He might be the pope...but I get to decide how many holes he has in his head. Now that's power.

I don't like him - but the last Pope was a tough act to follow. Scary? I don't think so. I find more and more Catholics who seem like McCain supporting the president - giving lip service but knowing the truth.

Since I saw Rosemary's Baby like 12 years ago and she had that trip about the jeweled out pope, with the evil jokers chanting that evil mantra shiite? Yep. Me too.

Do not fear anything but God. Look in Rev ch 21vs8- The fearful, and the unbelieving, the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Being fearful is serious. Develope your faith- you can overcome your fears and know God is with you- even in the shadow of death "thou art with me" I will fear NO evil. Amen The Pope is no better or have any influences that you don't have. The eyes of the Lord are upon the faithful in the land.

Opinionated is right, Pope Pius the 12th compromised with Hitler. Not because he agreed with the Nazis, but because he was scared. Nevertheless he still worked with them.

you're right, he looked like the scary man on elm street, FREDDY...........yucks..... but you can not judge a book by its cover....... in fact being a pope is the greatest achievement a priest can have... Remember, he is the greatest man in the church!!!!!!
