find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Keep in mind that there are dozens of factors to consider but here's some quick tips. Depending on what kind of job you do or how active you are during the week will determine what kind of weight loss program to follow. At your height and weight (and depending on your age) you need about 2900 calories to maintain with living a sedentary lifestyle. The best way to lose weight at a safe and healthy level is to limit your calorie intake to about 2500 a day and add some exercise to your daily activities(at least 30 minutes of fat burning). A stationary bike(30 minutes or more) or a brisk walk(60 minutes or more) should help you burn an additional 300 calories. Whatever exercise you do, it's CRITICAL that you keep your heart rate between 130 and 145. Your body loves to burn fat when you're exercising in this range which is a bonus because it's not that hard to exercise at that level. Anyway, your calorie deficit is now roughly -700. This is in a somewhat healthy range and should help you lose weight fast.

The other key to fast weight loss is stay away from refined sugar. I.E. (soda pop, white breads, fast foods, candy, pastries and so on...). Go easy on the fats. Try to get a ratio of 20 percent fat, 25 percent protein and 55 percent carbs. Eat foods high in fiber, this will slow the absorption of glucose into the blood and help you avoid the insulin roller coaster ride. There are fifty bazillion other things you can do, but these tips should get you started.

Do not believe any of the hype, I am sad to say it. There is no way to lose weight "fast". You likely didn't gain it fast. The goal to set is 1-2 lbs/week. At this rate, you will not fool your body into thinking you are starving, and there will be no yo-yo effect, and the weight will stay off.

DIET AND EXERCISE:
Reduce your calorie intake and increase your activity. Exercise at least 3-4 times/week and at least 30 minutes at a time. Keep the fats in your diet to a minimum. If you need help, ask your doc to set you up with a nutritionist referral, they are great and very helpful. YOu can do it, and it will hel your health immensely.

Good luck, stay focused.
YOU CAN DO IT!

Hi
Congrats on your decision to get healthyand loose your weight! You do not need to diet, but try a nutritional cleanse to remove toxins from your body. Toxins are our enemy and they are everywhere, in the food we eat, the atmosphere and so we need to get rid of this enemy. When the toxins are released they pull the fat from the cells and leaves your lean body mass in tack. You can have a nutritional plan to flood your body with the minerials and vitamins your body is craving. I have been on the plan for 40days and have lost 52 lbs. I started at 392, I now weigh in at 340 lbs!!! I am not craving food and have more energy than in a decade. By May 24th, I hope to have lost 100 lbs. You should have seen my happy dance while I was in the doctors office to get weighed. This is simple and workable and I would highly recommend you giving it a try.Just email me from my profile and I can answer any questions you may have. I wish you well on your journey to health.

Dude.
Just exercise.
There's no *magical* pill that can make you lose weight in a day unless you would like to kill yourself.
