"What's the point of living with out a reason at all?
What's the point of living to stand up just to fall?
What's the point of living, if we just die at the very end?
What the point of living, to be forgotten, never existing ever again?
What's the point of living if to die with out fulfilling a single dream?
What's the point of living, if one day life won't have a single thing?
What's the point of living if we all just die?
Whats the point of even being, in this messed up dread full life?
What's the point of living?
I just don't get it at all.
What's the point of living,
to stand up,
just to fall?"

The point of living is to live. To fall, to be forgotten, to die to be part of it all.. To be part of the human race. Its better to be than to have never been.

Those are the exact questions that an Atheist can't answer.
However, as a Catholic I have hope and faith and can answer you. The point in living is that there is more than just this world. There is hope that we will live forever with God in perfect happiness, peace, and love.
How depressing life must be without that hope. I couldn't imagine living my life with the belief that as soon as I die its over, or the idea that this is it. If I believed that, then I could never accept that these few years was all I got, and if it was I got a pretty raw deal. My years on Earth have been almost nothing but struggle and pain. If this is it then that sucks!
But, thankfully, I know that this is not all, and I am not struggling in vain. I am living in anticipation of Heaven.
What's the point in living - To know, love, and serve God. He will take care of the rest.

Some of us don't like pain.
Some of us enjoy life.
Some of us don't inflict decades of self-inflicted emotional suffering by taking responsibility for our own emotions rather than saying things like, "He MADE me angry," as if people had a magic wand and forced an emotional response rather than you chosing a response (by long practice) to what they did.
Some of us don't need a reason. We do it as naturally as any creature in existance.

Thats a lovely poem, and is the same question I used to ask all the time until I met Jesus. Now I know my purpose in life and I never wonder about it anymore.

To have fun and enjoy yourself. There is no real point, just enjoy yourself and make your life and the lives of those around you the best they can be.
