Tylenol does not cause drowsiness at all. The ingredient in Tylenol acetaminophen is used to relieve headache or fever pain. Acetaminophen has no side affects related to alertness.

regular tylenol will NOT make you sleepy. If it did it would had happened 15-30 after you took it

When I can't sleep that's what I take and then can sleep for 4 or 5 hours.
That is good to sleep when you are ill, it lets your body heal itself.
BTW - when I was pregnant I took a tablespoon of honey to fall asleep.

It could in some people. But most likely indirectly. For example, if pain or even mild discomfort was keeping you awake, a pain reliever could relax you enough to sleep.
