Many reasons.
Sometimes it's inconvenient in that some of things they do they would have to give up, and some hings they don't do they would need to start. Even if they believe in the gospel, it's just to hard to change.
Sometimes it's friends and family, I have heard many times where relations to someone who has heard and believed in the gospel has encouraged them by different means to avoid the gospel; usually by threats.
Some are so twisted and one with the world they become like Thomas, and will only believe what they see. (You know the people that believe in everything in the media.)
I won't go into detail but my church has a wonderful story about how and way different types of people reject the gospel, and these are just some. but what makes it worse, is that those who reject the gospel for many different reasons tend to gather and focus on ridiculing those that believe. Thus, causing others to be ashamed and reject the gospel.
Unfortunately once the gospel is received and accepted, the always on going debate as to which interpretation is correct, but that's a whole other story.

I think that people reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ because it is confrontational....It is truth and people don't like the truth; especially if it is something about themselves that will need changing...
I am very sad for those who reject Jesus..living in Christ comes with great joy and pleasure and I would love for others to experience His Love....God Bless you ALL!

Critical thinking. Common Sense. Realization that humans are flawed, so if humans themselves wrote the gospel, then why labeled it "perfection" knowing humans can write anything they want and skew it to reflect anytime of agenda they have. Take things with a grain of thought. Realize only thing perfect is God, humans can claim to be "divinely inspired" but you still can't believe everything they say.

There are many religions competing for attention, Christianity just one of hundreds. Frankly there are many religions that make a lot more sense both logically and philosophically than the whole Jesus thing. If I were a religious person, I most certainly would not be Christian.

Speaking only for myself, because the Gospels: contradict each other, have been written and rewritten more than once, Because man chose to include what he wanted and through out the rest, when it didn't fit his agenda, because it does not make sense to me at all. And because it does not speak to my inner being.

Christ came to heal the sick. I would assume the gospel is rejected because they who reject it think they are well.

It's really simple. Truth is perception of the person "receiving" it. If someone does not find truth in what you're preaching at them, they will reject it. I know I did and that's exactly why I did. I found no truth in it for me. I pursued my own path and have been happy in my own path of enlightenment ever since. The sooner others will realize that you cannot alter the truth of someone else's peceptions, the happier everyone will be.

I believe it is the devil working overtime to take as many souls as he can with him to Hell. He is a powerful force in this world and causes so much mayhem and confusion. It is very sad. I do pray for the lost. I want all to go to Heaven! God bless you!

Actually, nearly everyone I know enjoys the gospel...its the rest of the bible they have a problem with.
Theres some good stuff in the gospel...there's some good stuff in Star Wars too, that doesn't make it divine.

It is arrogant for a human to think that they could possibly know what God thinks.
The Gospel was made up by humans who have deluded others into thinking that they are speaking for God.
