I as well as many like minds have drawn the conclusion the America is Babylon the Great.
What are your thoughts?
Edit:
"Couldn't be because it says she has a kingdom over the kings of the earth. Revelation 18:3";
It's called the UN; research who started it and who has real control of it. America also controls nations and kings by fear of war and threats to imbargo.
"All the kings committed fornication with her Revelation 18:11";
How many contries DON'T do business with or within the US?
"couldn't be commerce because the merchants stand at a distance from her and weep.";
Actually this hasn't taken place yet. Upon the hour of judgement of Babylon the Great...the destruction of which causes them to weap.
"Revelation 18:15 The blood of prophets was found in her? Religious wars.";
Nuff said.
To Others:
I'm not talking about the city of Babylon, I'm talking about Babylon the Great...there's a difference.

Revelation was written against the backdrop of the Roman empire. It used Babylon as an analogy for Rome. But throughout the Bible, one of the great themes is that of God vs. Empire.
It starts with the Exodus, and God vs. Egypt. Then it's about God vs. the Israelites wanting to be an Empire like all the other nations. Then it's God vs. Assyria and God vs. Babylon. Are you getting a pattern here?
God in the Bible is fundamentally at odds with the way Empires work. Empires use people and resources for their own gain; they don't care for the inherent worth of any human being, or of creation itself. God loves and values each human being, regardless of how important they are to any system or power structure.
So, YES! You Get It! America is Babylon, in the most important sense. America is a system of power that exploits human beings and natural resources. People that place their primary trust in America and not in God, are buying into the myth of Babylon.

Couldn't be because it says she has a kingdom over the kings of the earth. Revelation 18:3 All the kings committed fornication with her. That was always used as a symbol of the Israelites having false Gods.
that represents false religion.
Revelation 18:11 couldn't be commerce because the merchants stand at a distance from her and weep.
Think of the money spent on Christmas and other holidays?
Cause they are going broke!
Revelation 18:15 The blood of prophets was found in her? Religious wars.
the bible clearly shows that soon the governments of the world not just any country will turn on false religion. They will make her devastate and naked. In other words exposed.
A lot of crime and corruption is being done in the name of religion and religious leaders. Babylon was the center of false worship that was brought out when Daniel was in Babylon. It started out as Babel or Confusion.
It was to represent all the confusion and conflicting doctrines in all the religions.

Babylon the Great will actually be the revived Roman Empire, or in todays terminology: The E.U.
America does have some similarities to the Great Roman Empire, but Geographically it is impossible.

Actually it is Rome!
Vicarius Filii Dei
(Latin: Vicar or Representative of the Son of God) is a phrase used in the Donation of Constantine to refer to Saint Peter; though this was proved to be a forgery in the Renaissance, it was a part of Catholic canon law and was used throughout the middle ages to support the pope's claim to secular authority. Some Protestant groups refer to this title to show the letters add up to 666, the "number of the beast" in the Book of Revelation.

As far as I am concerned, the bible is a myth and has been re translated so many times that who knows what is true and what is not. So therefore I use it as a reference for the old testament stories.

The "beast" and his "mark" are myths. You could attribute such vague superstitions to anything with enough rationalization.
