What are the benefits (preferable specific) of each? Keep in mind I really don't plan on living in the US when I am older, instead Europe! Why should i learn one over the other?

Do you think I can learn both? I already know Spanish pretty well and French kind of well, but I feel like I need to pick just one and focus on it, could I learn both do you think?

Spanish is the 3rd spoken language in the world. Nerveless in Europe the French population in greater than the Spanish. Both are great language to learn but if you are an American the Spanish can be more important.
Why not learning both?
Buena suerte.

From a French point of view I'll of course say French if you plan to live in Europe except Spain. French is spoken in France of course, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Andorre and outside Europe in Canada, Some African countries and some places in Asia ( Lebanon, Cambodia )
Spanish is usefull if you plan to stay in Spain, Central and South America except French Guyana and Brazil.

i say french because most european contries have some french. there is of course France, parts of germany, sweden, probably finland, definitly many parts of Africa, Canada. spanish is only really in spain, portugal, and south america. French is practically worldwide. but thats just my opinion.
