Do what you did in the past...before separation happened. The same things that drew you to Him then will draw you back.
It's a wearying road; isn't it? I'm in the same place.
The good news? He is right here...eager to embrace me. I have days I'm faithful & draw into Him, & days I'm not so faithful...& He patiently waits.

You said, when you have been away from Go, you see, you left God, but God did not leave you. He is waiting and ready, for your come back. Read the story of the Prodigal son, that story was placed in there for just that reason. I too, got away from God once, like many others.

A Jewish teaching is that if you take even one step toward Him, He will come the whole distance toward you. I can't remember the exact quote, but that's the idea, and I think it is a good teaching.

I think just taking time out each day to talk to God is the most important step to take. Cry to him if you feel like it. Just tell him all that you are feeling, even if what you are feeling is that, "God I feel so far away." Just tell him. Read Scripture. Start thinking about what God would have you do in each situation you find yourself in. Maybe surround yourself with other followers of God.

God bless you!

God has always been with you....you have never been away from him...you just haven't talked to him for awhile...He is waiting to hear from you...so...look to the sky (day or night) and open up to Him...He will hear you.
We often think that God doesn't hear us, because often times our questions or prayers are not answered right away....or a "sign" is a long time coming...but be patient. His arms are always open to you.

I know how you feel. When I was away from God I was angry and hopeless and I felt like He would never take me back.

But guess what? He did.

He loves you so much He died on the cross for you. He will be more than happy to take you back.

The sick people are the ones who need the doctor. Jesus is our doctor. We are blind. Through Him alone do we see.

Just repent and ask for forgiveness.

God bless.

That happened to me. I seeked the church for me. I currently attend non-denominational Christian church where the Bible is the center of the teaching and they lead people to a life changing relationship with God.

Find yourself a home group and surround yourself with people who are faithful followers of Jesus. Pray about it. And start to study the Bible. Ask Holy Spirit in your heart to guide you. Give it time. There are no shortcuts to a spiritual maturity. God bless : )

You don't have to get back to God because God will call you back when you experience a lot of suffering and questions that anyone can answer you.

Just close your eyes and say hello. He understands. He welcomes happily the ones that have been away for long. He waits for all of us.

This is the scripture that helped me; Return unto me, and I will return unto you.
If you believe the word of God (and I know that you do), then listen to what that is telling you. It's very simple!
Return unto me and I WILL return unto you!
