I doubt that you will be discharged from the Army due to an ulcer. They are common these days and usually respond well once a suitable medication is found. BTW, I put off being "scoped" for years b/c I didn't know that I would be sedated, and I didn't want to be gagging up the scope! Okay, so I'm dense!

Hope you feel better!

Discharged from what? Are you in the hospital? Ulcers are common and medications can be predscribed as well as making some changes in your diet. It is a medical emergency when they are actively bleeding.

As a healthcare provider, I agree that you should see a gastroenterologist (a stomach specilist). But I am having trouble understanding your question. Discharged? From what?

You see specialists in your own time unless you are in hospital and have a bleeding ulcer.Sounds like my problem.
