Polytheism makes more sense to me than monotheism. If there's one god, why wouldn't there be more? There's more than one of everything else in the universe.

Well, the assumption that all gods are of the same Divine essence is incorrect. The only gods we should worship are the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Because the one essense or source is the One true God. the rest are not gods at all but were created of the same thing you are. If everything was a god then there is nothing but gods. fish bugs everything would be a god

It's kind of like 50 states make up the United States....you still have one America....so, is that polystatism?....I think God is one God with many names...the many parts are within each of us called the soul.

I worship many Hindu Gods and Goddesses, and I see them as being different aspects of the One.

exactly. praying to apollo, for instance, is praying to that aspect of the divine androgyne. sun, protection, growth.

kinda like the catholic habit of praying to saints.
