I know this girl named Sara. She is so sweet and so pretty to me. And like 2wks ago I wrote her a note and attrached it to her favorite chocolate sayin I like her. She loved it, and we talked like everyday. Well last Saturday was prom and I couldn't go, so she went with her gay friend. I gave her a rose and apoligized for not taking her, and I find out from my friend (who asked her if we went out) he told me that she can't have boyfriends I kind of figured this because her parents won't let her date alone. Well I told her I want to take it slow. But she said she knows and doesn't want arelationship right now because she is busy. She is busy, you see she use to do drugs like really bad! She has meetings and church, babysittin, chores, errands, tennis practice and matches, and school to juggle. I think she is testin me because she still wants to be friends. I asked her if she was tryna let me down easy, but she insists she still wants to be good friends shes just busy. What do you think?

I would trust her and not read into it. I think she honestly likes you as a friend and is not just saying that. I think she is a honest person and I am only going by what you have said. I meant it when I said I wanted only friendship. When I wasn't ready for a relationship, I told guys that I only wanted friends. I figured that they should respect my honesty.

My suggestion is to get to continue to getting to know her as friends, it may turn into something special down the road, if not, you have a friend for life. You have to be friends first anyway.

I have a boyfriend now and we were friends for almost two years before we started dating. It is so much better this way. Just be there for her and be her friend. Don't try to push for anything else. It if is meant to be, it will. If not, cherish your friendship with her. If she isn't the one for you, you will be sent the one from God when it is time. We have to meet people and go through people in order to respect the one God has for us. If Sara is the one, she will be worth waiting for.

God bless and hugs to you.

I thinks he's being upfront and wants to stay good friends. I'd say you mean a lot to her and she may be wary to lose you as a friend if things get too involved in the other way. You may actually be a form of stability to her as well.

There maybe many reasons why she doesn't want to get into anything further than friendship and maybe for now, she has found some kind of balance and stability in life and is afraid of anything altering/changing that might tip the balance she has finally found.

Keep being a good friend, I am certain she values you very much and this is actually the biggest part of any lasting relationship or successful marriage.

I have a cousin that had a boyfriend at school. She had a good friend called Darryn also and he never really gave up, he just hung around as a friend, but never pushed it further. He liked her all the time. She broke up with her boyfriend and simply kept Darryn as a friend.

Time went on, they both ended up getting married and are a very close couple. Don't ever understimate friendship. To women, this is a very big deal.

I think you answered your own question. You said she is not allowed to date and considering she has already let her parents down with the drugs etc. I think you should respect that, they are trying to get their daughter back on the right path.I do believe she would be very busy repairing all of the damage she has caused to her self and her family. She did say she wants to be friends so what more do you want having a sexual relationships and possibly a baby is the last thing that girl needs. Just be a good friend and enjoy what you have already and over time if your friendship grows even stronger well maybe her parents will consent when she is older and over her crisis

She could have family problems,or challenges at school and a relationship will only complicate her situation. You need to let her know that you don't care if she will not always be available to talk or go out because you understand her busy schedule. Sara is probably telling you she is very busy because she is not sure if a relationship between you and her is possible. You need to let Sara know you are the man she needs in her life.

if she was on drugs and stuff. she may be trying to make sure she doesn't fall back into that rut or problem again. she may just be real busy and can't spare time for a bf at this time. if you truly care treat her as a friend and more she will either let you in or not. she may just be upset over prom as well. it is a big deal to most women and if you couldn't take her and weren't in the hospital or another type of good excuse. she may think you are a bad bf or don't care for her enough.

well, i think she is busy, and school first is a good idea before anything else, i think she wants to have a bf but parents not allowed and you should respect that. being a friend i think is much better coz maybe when its time to her to have a bf, you know her better enough bcoz you been friends for long. give her a break ok. her parents just protecting her maybe if you have little sister, you will be the same thing too, protecting her from guys. goodluck!

I think where you said she used to do drugs really bad. That she is keeping herself busy and is doing a great job staying away from the drugs. I think staying friends with her and taking it slow will be very rewarding in the end.

Well, she has had an addiction and maybe her parents think if she has things to keep her busy she won't being doing things like that or she won't have the time. Give her a chance, she has just came out of an addiction. Be friends with her but make her fall for you.

I think she really is just busy if she didn't like you she wouldn't be still talking to you.And from the things you mention she really does have a lot to do. If that was me I would n't have enough time for a relationship either!
