I was ringside last night watching the fight and i was convinced towards the end that Howard was losing and after the decision there were a few boos going around the arena, i would say he fought a clever fight he was obviously nicking rounds with some of that tippy tappy stuff in the judges eyes and yes the holding was really annoying towards the end of the fight i myself thought he could of had points taken off him it was that bad in the last few rounds, i thought myself that all the cleaner work was coming from Ashira and he definitely landed all the cleaner shots and was also the aggressor in the fight, as for the title shot for Eastman i hope he gets one as he has been our best Middleweight for the last 10 years or so, i just hope he fights his mandatory for the British title against Wayne Elcock first though as Wayne is a pal of mine and i think if Eastman performs like he did last night the British title will be coming back to Birmingham.

Howard is still a decent fighter but his preparation is always questioned he disappears to his homeland and returns back to England to late to prepare for world class opponents. i think at almost 37 he is past his best. .but i wouldn't be surprised if he wins a European title which i think hes good enough to win he ll get a third world title shot because he will be seen as an easy defence for a new world champion!!

Not really, Eastman is past his best. He should have been a world champion but was born in the wrong era.

I don't think he has the ability to win a quality World title. If he does, then he should call it quits after that. Or go for a big money fight and walk away afterwards.

It is hard to say that he did, but most guys who get title shots and lose don't deserve them, but the few who win I guess did deserve it after all.
