I agree with the thread of everyone here.
What Osho calls 'Divine Discontent'.
What the Buddha labels 'the Heavenly Messengers' (deva duuta).
Old age, sickness, and death... ie Suffering: and a desire to get beyond it.
For me the first time was a (temporary) parental breakup as a child.
The next was fruitless romanticism at university, and a poor choice of course.
As Mr David Baird says: "Failure is a chance to start again - more intelligently". :-)

Falling asleep at the wheel of my car when i was driving. I physically felt the angel wake me up a split second before i hit the cement barricade. Just in time to turn the steering wheel so my impact wasnt to bad i was still able to drive home.

Finding myself attracted to girls one day, 10 years ago. I was mortified and miserable and it sent me on a journey to find God. His love drew me in , and worked a change in my life over a span of 8 years. I stand today, free and straight, a completely changed person. I am happy and I know who I am and what my purpose is. I am no longer miserable!! Thank you Jesus!!
