My girlfriend is virtuous at pure cuteness and the amazing skill of ruining even the easiest cooking.

I have a virtuous husband. He is a devout Catholic that avails himself of the sacraments of confession and communion frequently because he know he is a sinner and in need of God's grace daily.
No man is perfect, but I respect a man who tries...and who asks for forgiveness when he fails.

The thing I love most about my wife is that she delights in Jesus Christ. Because of her love for Christ, she serves the Lord in our church in a number of ways. She facilitates a small group of middle-school-age girls who absolutely love her to death. She spends a lot of time counseling them, praying for them, and teaching them. Her and I oversee several adult small groups in our church and she is a constant source of support for all of the wives involved in that ministry. In addition, she spends the majority of her vacation leave from work serving with church youth retreats and such. I could go on and on here. The main thing is that she really has a heart for the Lord and she demonstrates it in the way she lives her life.
In addition, my wife has really helped me to grow in my faith. I have been blessed with opportunities to sit under some very fine Christian teachers and have had some relationships with other Christians that have been very crucial to my faith, but no other single person has helped me to grow in my faith the way she has. Her love for Christ has inspired me to live my life more whole-heartedly for God. The Lord only knows how many of my personal victories have come as a result of her prayers on my behalf. Although she is busy with work and ministry, I know that she puts our relationship first. She understands that her role as my wife doesn't take second place to any other person on the earth. I know that she loves me and I thank God that He has given her to me as His gracious gift. God has used her so greatly in my life that I simply don't know where I would be today without her. The thing I love most about her is that she loves Christ more than she loves me. I praise God for that and hope that I can love her in a way that reflects, at least in some small way, the way Christ loved us.
