I have a crush on a girl in 8th grade(i'm a guy in eight grade). I know crush sounds childish, but its not love and i hate saying i "like" somebody. We're in 2 classes together(LA and GYM) I got her screen name from a friend 2 days ago because i never really talked to the girl before and i knew her friend better. I don't know how she feels about me and i still don't really know her that well. I have no problem talking to her on instant messenger, and i can't get more than 2 sentances out to her in person. Yesturday and today i was invited into a chatroom on AIM with her and her friends and we just talked. I haven't really talked to her alone on AIM yet. Her friend that i know invited me to sit at thier lunch table if i couldn't find a seat at my normal one which fills up quickly. She seems shy except when she is around her friends. I don't know if i asked her friends how she felt about me, do you think they would tell her i asked? i don't know what girls talk about when guys aren't

Of course they will have told her.
They will tease her about it too.
If you can talk with her on AIM, you'd better talk with her as much as you feel you can.
Let her know how tongue tied you get when she's around you and that she makes you so happy.
Ask her if she's comfortable with you talking with her on AIM and if she can understand that you get all clammed up and don't know what to say when you are there in person with her, but that you like to be around her.
Look out to see if she posts a "There's this guy at school ..." question here - heh!

oh my gosh honey. GIRLS = gabbers. Chances are you're secret isn't going to be safe. Especially in 8th grade where "dating" is all the rage. She is probably shy except when she's around her friends because her friends help her boost her confidence somehow. You should get in good with her friends so that way you can become a regular part of their group and she has time to get used to you. Then....you can ASK HER OUT! Even if she says no (hopefully she won't) she'll still secretly be flattered.

Well just be forward and don't hold back. Try not to be shy. Girls like some confidence. I did in 8th grade. Don't ask her friends, she will think you are a wimp. Just plainly ask her questions start up stupid conversations, that will lead into her telling things about her. Good Luck

A Crush is not Childish! Even in 8Th grade! Do not ask her friends they will tell her you asked! If you want her to no you like her tell her! Just don't seem like a creepy stalker tho! Just tell her how you feel. If She is preppy she might take i t out of propion and tell everyone which will suck but if she dos that then she is not worth it! But she might think its really sweet!You will never no unless you try! she might like you to!

awww..u sound like so sweet i'm in 10 th grade n like we r not that far from age so i like kinda noe....well if u ask any of her friends dey mite say dey wont tell her but u noe dats a lie dey sho will....n well maybe u should risk dat i bet she feels da same 4 u cuz of the way u describe her,...dats how my fraternal twin sis was last year she used 2 talk 2 diz guy in myspace dat we noe from skool..n in im but wen dey saw each oder in skool it was like a moment of silent or sum between dem...lol...dey liked each oder but dey neva went out n this skool yeah dey r like best frinds...lol...but yeah i guess u should like try 2 find a time 2 talk 2 her n dont wait 2 long cuz u neva noe dere mite b sum guys dat like her as well n dey mite make deir move b4 u!...u noe wut i mean well hope this helps u....

Most likely they have already been talking about you and know you like her.

Girls definitely talk about everything when guys are not around (well, sometimes even when they are), so you'd be better off just asking her directly if she wanted to go somewhere with you.

Yes her friends will tell her anything you ask them, but if you really like her that will be ok as long as you don't push it. slow down you have plenty of time. I know I've been there a long time ago.
