I just saw Breakfast Monkey say that, and here it is!

WHY! WHY feed the TV trolls?

Breakfast: Don't you think that ANYONE going on that show hands it legitimacy? Just say "NO" to sensationalist bullshit.

I have mixed feelings about this. Of course they'll both be furious in about fifteen seconds; the difference is, O'Reilly can't control himself when he's angry, but Dawkins can. I saw an interview he did with Ted Haggard; the same thing happened and it made Haggard look like a complete @ss.

This will be either immensely entertaining or a complete failure. Can't wait.

I like Richard Dawkins and overall agree with much of what he says.

Over the past few years, he's adopted an evangelical stance, appearing on television (such as the Daily Show, last summer, I believe) and churning out what basically amounts to the same book over and over again, in the odd belief that using logic and facts will batter down belief in god. Overall, I don't see how this is going to be effective. Belief in god never had anything to do with logic and facts in the first place.

EDIT: Dawkins is a master of the "sound bite." He can drop those too fast for O'Reilly to really drown him out. Too bad I don't get good reception here...that would be a fun show.

Oh this is going to be worse than when he was in The Colbert Report. O'Reilly is going to do nothing but yell and scream at Dawkins and he'll probably never have a chance to talk. He barely tried to speak over Colbert and that was just satire conservatism, I don't even want to think what it's going to look like when he's talking to a real conservative.

I have read Dawkins work and I do not find him to be a genius. He by far is the most biased self declared non-biased person I have ever seen. He enjoys the religious like dedication of his fans all while condemning religious dedication. Irony in my opinion.

Mr O'Rielly just acquired thousands, perhaps millions of new viewers. I doubt that many conservative right wingers will change their opinions because of Mr Dawkins. (I'm not a fan of either btw)

Because someone should actually know what the hell they are talking about on that show, not just let bluster to make it APPEAR that they know what they are talking about.

It should make for good t.v. It was fun watching Bill on Letterman getting a good beating. Check it out on youtube.

O'Reilly is just so rude. He talks over his "guests" and doesn't let them finish what they are saying.

Somehow people think this makes his "guests" look stupid, and undoubtably people will say, "Wow, that Dawkins guy looked like an idiot. Atheists are idiots" because he won't let Dawkins talk.

I'm not knocking it. Finally Dawkins is going to have a chance to talk to my parents and a lot of my uncles and aunts. I'm happy.

Did you see Marilyn Manson on O'Reilly? It was beautiful. (It's on youtube!)
