There are lots of them, and they vary from Mass to Mass.

Why not stop by for Mass and join us!

You've got some prayers that are more or less standard (like the lord's prayer).

Then you've got prayers that are specific to the service that is being conducted (like a mass or a baptism).

Then you've got prayers that are specific to a day or a season (like lenten prayers) and prayers for a particular saint (which are usually calendar based as well).

Then you've got prayers that the pope or the bishop has requested or ordered and prayers that the congregation has requested.

Finally, you've got prayers that the priest wants to pray.

The first three types are standard and published somewhere.

It is average in a few Catholic Churches and no longer in others. Was all people else retaining arms? I expect in the event you have been the one 2 within the pew, there maybe a few appeal, simply ask her to head our for a cup of Coffee, or a Coke and notice in which it leads. Good Luck and God bless.

these 2 links should help, your local catholic church will have a missal, ask the priest if you can take one home, most allow this. there are 3 liturgical years(year a,b,c) that are orchestrated in a way that covers both old and new testament truths in a synchronized fashion. there are many prayers and for certain masses they change, for example a funeral mass........hope this helps and god bless.

theres a lot. try searching for a catholic mass prayer book

edit

forget that, here they are

http://www.saintaquinas.com/prayers.html

now look only at the ones that say 'mass prayers'

there are also repitions such as 'lord have mercy, Christ have mercy' and 'lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world have mercy on us' said twice and the third time instead of 'have mercy on us' its 'grant us peace'

and theres 'lord, hear our prayer'
